The Memory of the Spirits

The Memory of the Spirits explores the idea of nature as another form of intelligence: an ancient, silent knowledge that survives through the myths, spirits and folklore of the land. The piece transforms the architecture into a living vessel, as if the building itself were remembering the invisible forces that inhabit the territory.

Through symbolic creatures, ancestral presences and organic forms, the façade becomes a threshold between the physical and the mythical. Serpents, eyes, spirits and biomorphic structures emerge from the architecture, suggesting that the land is not passive or empty, but conscious, watchful and alive.

The work proposes a dialogue between memory, myth and ecology. It imagines folklore not as something from the past, but as a living language through which nature continues to speak. In this sense, the projection becomes an act of listening: a visual invocation of the spirits that keep ancestral knowledge alive within the landscape.
